A few rounds with the Bob Lee - pic's
« on: November 25, 2007, 05:32:00 AM »
I can't stop talking about this new Bob Lee that I got a week or so ago.  It is a really awesome little bow and I like it so much.  I have wanted one for years but thought they would be a factory job like my Martins and shoot accordingly.  So I kept on ordering expensive custom bows.  However Nothing could be further from the truth.

I have ordered so many bows over the years but very few have that WOW factor that I am looking for.  Most have been sold or are in the act of being sold.

However my Turkey Creek is definitely a WOW Bow and now I have the Bob Lee to compliment it.  Both very different bows but well and truly keepers.

Here are a few pic's of a few shots out of my back door today.  It was nearly 40c in Western Australia today so I nearly flaked it in the heat, but I just had to fling a few shafts early evening.  The group shots were at 17 metres.

The bow is a Signature T/D longbow, 62" @28, 43#.

I am wondering if some kind person could put up the pic's for me - I have worked out the Photbucket thing, but not how to load them onto T/G??  Thanks

Sutto

Brent (Hormoan) sent me a 52# BL sig. out of the kindness of his heart. Being used to selfbows it took awhile to get used to the center cut, but now I love the BL.

Your BL looks great and it looks as though you took to it real fast!

I am waiting for him to be in Pennsylvania in July.  I would like to shoot both his longbow and recurve @ 40-50lbs .  I am wondering which is better to shoot, I need a lot of help! Right now my truly effective range is about 12 - 15  yards and that stinks. Need to find me an archery coach!

Yep, the Lee's make great bows.  I think they tend to be forgotten about with all the fuss over the bowyers du' jour.  Smooth, fast, quiet.
