As an aside, I found another use for a Formaster recently. Since retiring, my wife and I are taking more extended trips in our trailer. I don't like to go more than a day or two without shooting, so I take a bow and arrows along. Sometimes, we stay in places where I can set up a target and shoot, but a lot of times, there are people all around and I would get in trouble if anyone saw me shooting the bow. On those times, I've found that I can draw and shoot the bow (without an arrow) with the Formaster while sitting on the sofa inside my trailer. I could still draw the bow, and keep my strength up, without the Formaster, but I think releasing the shot adds something to the practice, and keeps me honest about my back tension.
I've read about people doing the same thing in their deer stand, to keep their muscles loose. I don't know if that would be advisable, due to the movement and slight amount of noise involved, but for a fidgety person like me, it might not be much more movement and noise than I make on my own anyway.
