Help finding a kids recurve for Christmas?
« on: November 26, 2007, 05:45:00 PM »
Can anyone give me some tips on where I can find a recurve for one of my boys.  I'd like to keep it to $100.  He is currently seven years old and I'd like him to be able to use it up until he can get a hunting weight bow.  I contaced MAD Dog but didn't hear back.  They had some nice bows in the price range and had some good recommendations from folks on this site.    His older brother is getting a compound for Christmass (am I allowed to say that work on here    ) and I want to upgrade my seven year old from a red bear fiberglass bow to a wood recurve like his older brother and I have. Any recommendations are appreciated.

Mike, I have a 48 inch Ben Pearson equalizer recurve that is 45@28 inches. It needs a string has some finish cracks in the upper limb but other than that it is a nice bow. I would take 70.00 shipped to you let me know if you need pictures. Thanks Flint
