Call for Jerky Recipes
« on: November 17, 2014, 11:19:00 AM »
All,

Did a little searching and found a few jerky recipes but I thought it might be a good idea to try and get them all in one place.  So...  Please post your homemade jerky recipes.  Whole meat or ground, sweet or hot.  Just tell us what you got.

I slice the steaks in the hams thin with a fillet knife. Then marinate in a combo of 2 parts worchestishire to 1 part soy sauce and 1 part liquid smoke, hot sauce to taste, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, Cajun seasoning, and what ever else I may have laying around. I've found it's also good to dice up some fresh onion very fine and put it in with the mixture. I let it marinate for at least 12 hours...usually closer to 24.
