Broad head alignment?
« on: March 14, 2004, 08:25:00 PM »
Hello this is my first post on this board. Hopefully I did not take anyones username. My question is how do you properly align 2 blade magnus non vented broadheads. I am a recent convert from compoundbow hunting. I usually use 3 blades but I like the more traditional 2 blade better. Any suggestions would be of great help.  :help:

It really shouldn't matter how you align them if your arrows are properly spined. I mount my Zwickey single blade Eskimos horizontally. They are "laying flat" as I aim. This way it doesn't interfere with my aiming, just my personal preference. I believe in a full helical on all my arrows too, both 5.5" and 5" feathers. I apply as much "wrap" as I can. This will help stabilize your arrow. Experiment with different alignments and see what works best for you. Good Luck...

I like to mount my 3 bld. heads with 1 bld. up and 2 bld. heads verticle. So this way my sight picture never changes.I don't look at the arrow, but just like to keep things as consistant as possible.
