I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to hunt buff so young.
I could not think of a better BIG game animal to bowhunt.
And would really erg anyone that has been wanting to do it, to go!
The rush you get when your less than 20m from a massive bull and you’r not only thinking I have to make a good shot, but your also calculating the distance to the nearest big tree! I was liking the odd’s of me outrunning Mick though.

Tradtusker...

Did you catch any Barramundi?  They are fantastic on a fly rod and one of the best eating fishes there is!

Pigs?

Snakes?

Outfitter and area?

I hunted up against arnhem land with Andrew McKay.

There where Lots of snakes! But they don’t bother me much when hunting except for the puff adder in south Africa, here is one of many we saw..

I was hunting with Mick baker of Trophy Bowhunts Australia,  and could not recommend it enough, he really went out of his way to help me. Great fun to hunt with!

We hunted a big area about 1.5 hours north of the Roper river, and there where some really big buff up there. This is not the correct spelling of the place but this is how it sounds “ wagibar community”

You got any pics from your hunt? Iv seen your buff it’s a great bull.

Andy...Mate it was a pleasure to have you along for the ride. You certainly put in the hard yards and it was great to see you nail a Good Bull. Overall we took 2 Buff per hunter for the season. 2008 booked out. 2009 still free.

We the Bowhunting Community in Oz are truly sadened by the loss of Bill he was certainly a Aussie Hunting/Guiding Icon.

Good Hunting All
Mick

Hell Mick, if 2009 is free, I'll take you up on that one, Mate.

Oh, you didn't mean "free", you meant "free".  Can't blame a guy for tryin'.
