Encountered an older longbow here in Aussie that I'm not familiar with. Can anyone identify, or does anyone have any information about the bow or maker?
This longbow is a laminated bow, and is only marked: "Syphony", and "Harp" (Harp being followed by the number "9" inscribed on a colored circlar 'dot'), and "Special Delux".
The bow 65# at 28". It's owner (who is hunting with it) bought it at a garage sale for $10.00, and has no other information on it. He's trying to find out who it was made by, and about when and where. Though I'd ask the collective knowledge base of the 'Trad gang'!
Don't run into too many that I haven't at least heard of, but I'm stumped on this one!
I'm away for the weekend, but I'll check Monday to see it anyone out there has the 'lamp of knowledge' on this bow. :D
