Howard Hill Longbow, What's it worth?
« on: September 10, 2004, 12:28:00 AM »
I have a chance to purchase a Howard Hill Longbow. It is a "New Breed" 55# 68" long. It has 2 outer layers of yew and 2 inner layers of bamboo. The riser is made of Bocote. What would it be worth? The guy is asking $350.00 for it, is it worth it? He says the bow is 3 yrs old.

Thanks a bunch!

Check the Howard hill website for the price of a new one and then goe from there.  It depends on how bad you want it and what kind of shape it is in.  Joseph

I have purchased two HH bows in the last year and paid $250 for each. One was a Tembo and the other was a Red Man. Both in the 60# range and very clean. You might see if he would lower the price or if you realy wanted it and have seen it you might want to try for 300.00 shipped. They are good bows and I like the HH grips, some do not. Good luck.
