Anyone hear of Fred Bear Instant Archery??

I found this bow at a local auction and even though I'm not a Bear collector, I thought it was an interesting piece.

Instand Archery was sold as a kit with everthing you needed to get started.  Bow, arrows, tab, armguard, target face, and quiver.  They probably did not make a lot of profit on them but Mr. Bear was a marketing genious.  The kit got a guy into the sport cheap.  If he stayed in and upgraded, the hope was that he would stay with Bear products.

Many of us oldtimers started with kits like that.

The most important part of your hunting setup is the broadhead.  The rest is just the delivery system.
