JACK HOWARD MEMAROBELIA
« on: January 10, 2006, 04:53:00 PM »
Ms. Dorothy Howard, wife of Jack Howard has informed me that she has a lifetimes collection of all the archery trophies that Jack has won over his stellar archery career. She will entertain any offers if anyone would be interested in having one in memory of a Traditional Archery ICON. There is no specific inventory, so it is you get what you get. She also has the game mounts that Jack was so famous for. She will accept any reasonable offer, placed through me. The trophies will ship easily, but the mounts may have to be picked up at her home in Nevada City, CA. IF anyone has any interest in Jacks memorobelia, please PM or e-mail me.

Jack also left two Carbon Classic bows that only need the final sanding and finish.  They are in th 60-65# range.  These bows would have sold for $800.00 each if completed.  Now guys, these are the last two CLASSICs that Jack was working on. No serial numbers, weight markings, strings or rests. They will be sold "AS IS" since Ms. Dorothy is not in a position to honor a warranty.  Having them finally finished will be the buyers responsibility. Bowdoc, Rich Lopez, and Charlie Lamb have said they would finish the bows off, of course there will be a charge for their work. Keep in mind that these will be the two most COLLECTIBLE JACK HOWARD BOWS ever. Again e-mail or PM me if interested.
THANKS.

Thanks Larry.  Out of respect for Jack, I want to do anything I can to help her out.

As things stand now, there is a potential buyer for the business, and someone has expressed interest in buying the two CARBON CLASSIC bows.  I will post here if that falls through.

She still has all of his trophies, and his game mounts for sale.  I would love to have one of his Mule Deer but the logistics of getting it shipped from CA to GA would be cost prohibitive.

I am also looking for anyone that has an archery supply business that may be interested in taking on Jacks Bowhunter supply inventory off her hands.  Either buy it outright or take it on consignment.  Jack had lots of neet, hard to find stuff, but Ms. Dorothy can not contend with it.
