Bear Catalog Reprints
« on: November 08, 2006, 05:41:00 AM »
I stumble across this site recently and thought I'd pass it on to those of you who are bear collectors.  They have reprinted all of the Bear catalogs from 1948-49 through 1980. They run about $11 to $16 bucks.  Not bad in my opinion.
As I've mentioned before, I bought the CD Rom that contains the same catalogs.  The problem with the CD-ROM is the fact that some of the copy is unreadable because it so small. These reprints, hopefully will solve that problem.
I have no interest in this site...just passing on info...

Tom, are you using the zoom feature on the cd? I haven't found anything I couldn't read after zooming in on it. CKruse

Hi CK....
Yep.....I use the zoom feature.  As a "for instance", try to read the spine charts for arrows .....I can't do it.

OKay....I screwed up on operating the CD.  I thought I was using the zoom feature by enlarging the page.....nope....one must click the zoom button at the bottom of the cover page of the catalog......now I can read them.
Thanks
