Question for the Bear experts
« on: August 01, 2007, 07:37:00 AM »
I'm looking for a bowfishing rig and got it in my head to use an old Bear, but am not too familiar the what all the older models look like and can't find all the pics.

What I'm thinking of is a '58-'62 Grizzly.  After that the grip gets too high for my tastes.  So what other Bears have a similar grip?  Most of the pre '63?  Any suggestions?

I'm really kicking myself for not picking up the '62 Grizz I saw two months ago!

There is a 1962 griz for sale on this website right now. If you like 62" bows, get a tigercat. Nice smooth shooters.

I'm with Mike, you can get a good 76er for under $100. sometimes if not a little bit more. There are people selling them a good bit here on this site. I'd look on that auction site if you know what I mean   ;)
