Well, congratulations!
I remember back when I switched "back" to trad, after shooting a lot all year the first year, then another year rolled by...and a third...till I got to drop the string on an animal and score a kill. It was a darned ole blackbird in my yard... and a long shot, too! I was soooo proud! :D
Congrats. Those peskly rats aren't all that easy to whack and keep whacked!

A tree rat is no easy target. Congrats.

Don't be so modest. Shooting a deer is easy. Hitting a hyper, twitchy little bundle of nerves called a gray squirrel? That's tough!
Congrats. I'd save the tail and hang it on your bow rack.

Congratulations Brian
My first trad kill was a squirrel too. Well done!
BTW- I usually cook mine in a crockpot until the meat falls off the bones. I then shred the meat and mix it with a can of mixed vegetables, a jar of chicken gravy, and a little thyme, salt, and pepper. I use that as a filling for pot pies, using ready to bake crusts; easy and delicious.

Congrats! I love the look of those older recurves, too. A less-busy look to them...
