Herter's Bow I.D., questions and advice sought

I would like some help identifying this particular model of Herter's recurve. I also need to see if anyone has a brace height recomendation from Herter's. I will try to post some pictures. Nothing is written on the limbs, and I will attmept to show a pic of the writing on the riser. It is a 44# bow at 28" and I am a bit confused by the 9 digit serial number when Archery archives shows they should have 10 digit numbers. I know the last 3 digits indicate there were 23 bows made in November of the specific year. I think the 62 means the bow was nade in 1962. Perhaps the 11 means it was made in November of 1962 and and the "0" in front of the 11 trips me up and I would expect another digit in from of the 2 to show length. When I measured the bow on the belly, from nock to nock, with a cloth measuring tape, I got 60 1/2 inches. The string that came with the bow measured 58" from tip of the loop to tip of the loop, but that gave it a brace height of 6 1/4". I expect it needs a little shorter string. Any input and help from you guys would be appreciated.
