What would the proper brace height for a 60" Kodiak. Right now I have it at 8 1/2".

Usually 7-8" yours sounds a little high. Play with it some. CKruse

I have found (with Rainemans help on 2 occasions) that when the Bear catalogue says 7-8 inch brace height - mine tend to like the high end of that range. Generally between 8 and 8 1/8th.
