Help setting up 67 Kodiak Hunter

Due to a recent back surgery i bought a LH Kodiak hunter and need some help setting it up.
1 how should I store the bow when not shooting
2 who would you suggest for a new bow string
3 brace hight is 8-8 1/2 right.
4 who can sell me a new rest.
Can't shoot till the end of July so i have the get the supplies i need.

thanks guy's can't wait to start shooting it's probaly 15 years since i have gone this long with out shooting but i still get my 6 year old daughter out about 5 night's a week in the back yard.
