Y'all remember my fiasco with the post I made about the supposedley bad e8ay seller.
Comes out he was a straight up guy
Got the bow in today.

It is gorgeous. The white stripe that I thought would be hard rock maple is actually some kind of plastic or cream colored phenolic.
It is a good match for the evenly yellowing limbs.
The only downside are as follows
1. Original owner drilled it for sights. Not in the front or back of the riser, but on the side where you would drill to hand a quiver or hunting sight. Not only did he drill the two holes, he drilled two additional small holes that can be seen in the pictures. If this were not bad enough, all four holes are drille all the way through the riser.
2. He wanted to have a hunting stabalizer, but the bow did not have a stabalizer bushing. So... what does he do?... he drills a 5/16" hole where the bushing would be and screws the stabalizer right into the wood. Did he drill it dead center?... NOOooo.. that would be to nice. He drilled it off center.
I have a bushing that can be inserted but it will have to be drilled out a bit wider.
Rich offered to fill the holes for me at a really good price, but then I would have to spend about $20.00 to ship it to him, and then it would be about $20.oo to ship it back.
My friend that wants it is estatic that I got it for her, and is reimburseing me for all cost. I am just going to ship it to her as is and she can do what she wants as far as any hole filling or bushing mounting.
As it turns out, her original bid was $199.99 plus $18.75 shipping for a total of $218.74.
I got it for $187.35 + $18.75 shipping for a total of $206.10. By the time she covers my shipping to her, she will come out about the same as her original bid.
With all the trials and tribulations of this misadvienture, everything came out awrite and all parties are happy, and all is right with the traditional world.
