What is your proceedure for writing info on bows.
What do you use?
What do you cover the writing with so it will stay on the bow?
Thanks

GOLD LEAF?
Don, would that actually be very thin gold?
That's what I always though Gold leaf is.

I have had several bows done by the Doc, His looks professional, and is under the finish, I think the Gold leaf, brings the right touch to a restored bow..CWarberg

How the heck do you spell Liquied...I get the liquied gold leaf at an art store...but here's the kicker. The last time I bought some at Danial Smith art supply. The dude told me they will not be making it anymore....It is cut with a thinner called xelene or zelene...anyhow I guees if you breath that stuff in lagre amounts it will cause brain danage....I'am not sure how much you would breath lettering a bow..but at anyrate you may check an art supply for the liquied.Whooooops I almost forgot to mention as mentioned by Richie. The paper gold leaf is spendie and man is it's hard to work with on a stickie surface....bowdoc
