I think I have plan
« on: October 26, 2008, 03:12:00 PM »
So I have owned alot of old bows over the years and trade swapped or just given them away because well never have had a direction for my collection
until at last I think I figured it out! I am from the pacific northwest so I thought collecting archery items from this area would be cool so help me with the bows see if I am missing any
current boyers dont really count unless they are legends so heres my list so far
Howatt
Bill Stewart
Fred anderson
Glenn St Charles
Jim Brackenbury
Ron Fox
John Strunk ( I think he is in oregon any one know)
kitsap archery company( the trailblazer)
and maybe sentman and blacktail would make the list anybody have any others they can think of

You would have to have a Duke Savora?

..and one of Jay St. Charles yew bows...

...and a Bezaleel bow from Andy McCoy of Tenino, WA...(but you already got that one, right?)

...and a Norm Johnson's Blacktail...

...and Steve Gorr's Cascade Bows of Arlington, WA

Are you sure you want to do this?       You must have won the lottery.

Dycoff is the one that makes the take down sleeves, i believe since the late 70", None the less, one of his customers is Wes Wallace, Sure is kinda hard shorting out the fine Archers of the Pacific Northwest, Dycoff brought some pics to me at my work of a buffalo he had shot in Montana this month. It was brought down with a St Charles, long bow he and Glenn had made i think in early 80s and a Stone point he had made, nice critter.. Great topic look forward to more feed back,, CWarberg

Lon, this is unrelated to the topic but, i did get a chance to see the whitetail. you had shot and was cerious about the story behind it, I know i have seen you several times at moses lake shoot, nice buckfor sure... Roy Corse was a Washington native for quite some time wasn't he?? Maybe north eastern Oregon. But has put out some first class Bows him self,, take care--CWarberg
