I always hear about the recurves. What are some vintage longbows that shot pretty decent and are still around? Thanks guys. Flint

C.R. Binkley Freeport, Illinois made some nice longbows years ago. I have a couple and my wife shoots one. Real nice vintage longbows.

I have an old Ben Pearson #966 longbow that I really enjoy shooting and shoots well.  It is maple with green woven glass and a straight grip.  If I get my camera fixed I'll take some pictures and post them later this week.

I'm not sure Flint. I'm barely scratching the surface on Bear and wing history. I'm hoping one of the guru's of of this awesome place knows more about it.   greg
