Hi John

You asked about 57 Kodiaks this is from a early post. I will give it more work out the next two weeks at our indoor league.

I do believe being left handed is a advantage (as in cheaper collectible bows). I just picked up this minty Kodiak Special LH 66" 52 lbs Ser no  for $152 shipped and insured. Off that auction site. It appears just as advertised use a couple times in the 50's rabbit hunting in Germany. Shipped home by the military gentleman and only looked at since. It has a A over top of the ser no which is YB655. Man it is just absolutely a beauty, ya got get the magnifying glass out to find a mark.

WOW!!!! That's a great bow  56? 57?

In hunting weight to boot

Great score, string it up and let us know how it shoots.

Nice one for sure.  I too have run across some nice, rare lefties but still prefer righties.

Bear must have made about 10 times the amount so more readily available.  Then again, there are probably 10 times more folks looking for righties.

What a beautiful bow.Mine is just a Kodiak and not a Kodiak Special like yours which is a bit fancier looking but I'm looking forward to trying it out.I hope I can shoot it half as good as you shoot yours.Nice grouping!! I'm glad to see all these old Bear bows still being shot. Most of them look as though they could have been made yesterday.I'm sure ol' Fred is smiling down on all of us die-hard Bear fans. Can't wait to get mine and try it out.Keep the spirit alive!!
