Racks on
« on: January 28, 2007, 09:17:00 PM »
Since there was nothing else to do at 2 o'clock this afternoon, I bundled up and went stumpin' and shed hunting (looking anyway) at the farm.  I was wrapping up the walk and went by my favorite stand hoping to find the needle in the haystack and decided to shoot a clump on leaves in the field.  Well, I hit the clump and noticed something moving in the adjacent field to my left.   The 10 pt that I saw earlier this month was a mere 40 yds away with another smaller buck and doe.  I watched them run just waiting for those antlers to drop, but no luck.  Maybe next time....
