Definitely not a Grumly.  The Bear logo ont he bow was not used 'til long after Nels was gone from Bear, I don't think he ever made a "CUB", and the style of the limbs and tips are definitely not his.

Although I am not that familiar with Nels' signature, I have seen enough of Fred's signatures to guess that this is not his,

I saw that bow. ASked the seller if he had any proof of authenticity. He said he would stand behind it if someone could prove it's not.

Maybe signed by Fred early on...then signed by John ? Grumley Nelly's son later ??? just asking ?? Someone else may know the sons sig a little better then I but it does look that way to me..maybe....however I've signed a many a Grum myself...........bd
