I have a very old Mag in  good condition. VOL 7--NO.5 [Was found in an estate] Has 1 fold thru mag lengthwise [ which I'm sure will press out] and shows a little wear where staples went tru.the backing when pages were stapled. Has copies of letters from Art Young written while on a Horse back hunt in AK for Sheep and a hunt for Brown Bear.

Also a great article on Chester Stevenson of Eugene Or. among many other old time Giants of the Past.

Several articles on hunts during that period.

Guys this is a complete mag from 72 years ago in great shape.

I'm interested in selling as I would like to see it as part of a  collection of our past history.
It is the only one I have ever seen and have no idea what it's worth [possibly has no worth as I don't know how many are still floating around?].  Would appreciate some help on establishing value on this great piece of history.

Thanks, Gene

Gene, that does sound like some interesting reading but have no idea as to value, but I have seen similar stuff go for 10-20 bucks.

TBW Banquet in Tacoma on 1-31 and Flint Tip's trad shoot on Feb 7-8....you comin'?

Gene - ABRs (American Bowmen Review) was a great periodical that ran from 1937 to 1951. I have owned thousands of issues and sold complete sets, with some mailing labels of some prominent bowmen, for up to $1,000 in excellent condition. Rarest issues are from the first couple of years and the last year. There have been many individual issues for sale at auction over the past couple of years. Blackhawk's suggestion of 10-20 bucks is in the ball park. A complete set is an essential research tool for anyone interested in old time archery or collecting old equipment. I have disposed of all my extra issues.
