Pearson 48" AMO vintage?
« on: February 11, 2009, 09:15:00 PM »
Picked up this 48" 40@28 Pearson today. It has an "I" beam riser. Any ideas about vintage?

I just took a sander to a 62" Cougar with a I beam and pretty nice wood, rounded the shelf, and narrowed and raised the grip.

I wanted to try a weight reduction on a beater bow, so I sanded the belly and took a 1/16 off both sides of the limbs. Was 45@28 hoping for mid to high 30's, I have not scaled it yet.

epoxy'd some day glo tips and overlays on it
red/orange/yellow with black divisions,on black limbs is bit of a 60's black light party.

I have strung it and it still tillers true(pure dumb luck)

Its for my daughter and she likes it, but it looks like it should have daisy's all up and down it.

Hey Jim gonna need a real bright red yellow and orange 62"string to go with this thing.

I have a 48" Ambusher #7360, It is a very smooth shooting bow.It is more comfortable to shoot then my Kodiack Super Magnum. No finger pinch.
