Refinish old bow?

If I have an old bow refinished (40ish) can I shoot it?

In pics you see cracks on the belly but you cant tell if they are in the bow or clear coat. It is a 1940ish bear? If it is in the glass is that repairable.

A 1940 ish Bear has no glass; not till 1948-1949-you got pics?

Hello Rush, I dont think your bow would be from early 1940s I was thinkin  maybe like bjorn said the late late 40s... I also would like to see pics of this bow as well......
