Well I'am glad you asked.I actually like those cam limb bows.Although I don't own one right now.They are good shooters and look pretty cool too.The cam limbs really do not out perform any other bows IMO.However that cam section and or limb wedge near the tip are to prevent limb twist rather then anything else(ala Harry Drake limb wedges).If you look at the limbs you will note the cam or wedge section is kind of like a strut it createts a support in the limb and keeps them from twisting.
Bill Stewart and Roy Coursey(Cook Mountian Archery)both built cam limb bows as well and both are some super good shooters.No limb twist should equal more stored energy.bd
