Date of Bear Take-down
« on: May 07, 2009, 02:09:00 PM »
I recently acquired a newer Bear takedown.  (Can't afford a seventies version.)  It's serial number (s) are TDA - 05 #103.  Can you tell me what these numbers mean?  I assume the TDA means Takedown, A riser.  Might the 05 mean built in 2005?  If 103 is the serial number, any idea as to the range of numbers into which this fits?  Appreciate any info you folks can provide.

You've got it right for the post-2000 bears.  #103 from 2005.  I don't have a clue how many A riser T/Ds Bear made though.
