I had never saw a Tamerlane in person til today, Can you guys tell me anything about this one? What year? What woods? Any info on the rest and plate? Are these Dependable durable shooters? 1 of 4 pictures.

It is 66" and 42# Serial # starts with 1

Tips look good and no stress lines on the white limbs back or belly, it does have the same overlays just below the grip on the belly side as well.

Thanks for the info, how many years were the caps on this model in segments?

The caps were in segments for 1963 and 1964. The 1963s did not have the metal plate in the sight window, as far as I know, so I suspect that this Tamerlane is a 1964.

So, 1964, and Rosewood. These things seem to be more riser than limbs
Anybody got any more info on these bows? How long was the Tamerlanes made?
