Ol' Ben Pearson
« on: May 26, 2009, 04:21:00 PM »
Hey guys,

My neighbor showed me an old Ben Pearson bow his dad gave him years ago.  He believes it's from the 40's and by the look of it, I'm inclined to agree.  It was marked only with the words Ben Pearson and the SN 502-66 (or maybe 502-55).

Can anyone make sense of the serial numbers?  Sorry, no pics.  It's probably about 62" and by the looks of the tips, I'm sure it was hand-made.

Thanks, Jim

Model 502 was a Ben Pearson straight limbed hickory hunting bow 5'6" (66")  502-66.  Go to Archery Archives 1957 was the last year I could find it.

Hey, thanks for the quick response.  I'll let my neighbor know.  Not sure if he should sting it, but it'll look good on the wall.
