One shot, one bow, life & death - what would it be ?

If everything rested on one shot - be it $10m or saving your child from a rabid beast - extreme circumstances but you know what I mean. What bow would you trust for that shot ?

I realise lots of factors could decide your choice ie distance etc but is there a bow in your collection that you would always reach for ....not the prettiest, most expensive or rarest but the one that feels like a piece of you.....

I've shot just about every year make and model of recurve bow ever built.Not so much the newer models like the Black Widows and such but I've shot several farley new bows and they all seem to be just about the same.I really can't tell one from the other on the new model bows as they all seem to shoot pretty darn good.
Now with that being said I gotta go with my Bear take down she's a nail driving machine and shoots way better then I can.bd

my pearson hunter. its my main hunting bow, but if i could choos between it, my other little pearson, my osage bow, and all of ian johnson's bows (bear grizly, dryad orion, sheepeater shaman, and a horse bow) i would go with that old bow. i can trust it to put the arrow where it needs to be.

Bowdoc and I are on the same track. With a couple racks of bows, I refuse to keep one lying around that does not shoot where I want.  My opinion is that it's the bowman, not the bow when it comes to the moment of truth.  

It's hard for me to believe that a bowman shooting the balls off a gnat at 30 yards with Jack Howard could not at least hit the gnat with a Bear TD.

I really believe most of us pick our bows for various reasons with "accuracy" not always at the top of the list.  If this were the case, we would be trying to borrow Jason's .375.
