If you think about why you see the variation in grip size on the Kodiaks in Wade's pictures it only makes sense that there would be the same amount of variation for the other bows since they were Bear's top of the line bows and likely made by a select few bowyers...in those days it very much depended on which bowyer was doing the final finishing and maybe even on which day...if you are really affected by grip feel then the only way to be sure is to actually handle the bow you are buying first...I prefer to simply learn to adapt to differences in grip size and feel...I think I shoot my 3 1960 Kodiaks, two of which are right handed with the other being a lefty, and my right handed Kodiak Deluxe about equally well

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42
