Bear Pony, Any info?

I know it's a discontinued model, but I've found a new one on the rack at a local hardware store that sells a little Trad. Archery stuff. Thinking about getting it for my adult daughter who is coming to visit next week and has expressed an interest in shooting again. We shot a lot when she was younger but she now lives in Fla.
Any way the bow is 35#'s @28" and 52 " long. They want 250.00 for it. I'd like some info on it if anyone is familiar with it, and weather it's a decent shooter or not. Thanks.

Rick, I can't speak to that specific model and if its a good shooter or not. I shoot 60" and 62" Bear bows and they shoot very well for me. In regards to price....seems high to me BUT value is in the eye of the beholder. Others with more intimate knowledge will chime in just wanted to let you know my thoughts.

Rick, the Pony is a decent bow, need to use dacron string, wooden tip overlays, use 7-8" brace height, weight on the pony is meaured at 26" not 28" draw. Brown maple riser. thats all I can tell you. Ken

Way over priced for that bow. You can find a polar or cub for less than half that price on that auction site. If you don't want to search that site I have one that is nice and will sell you for 125.00 TYD. It is a Panda 58" 40#.
