Well that's a great start! What I have done is base my collection around me and my wife's birth year. 1967 has several firsts and one last bow in the series. I also focus on hunting bows.
As too which hunting bears are good, well they are all excellent bows that fit best in different applications. For example I hunt with a 60" Kodiak hunter when chasing game on the north slope. The extra stability and accuracy of the longer limbs makes the long shots necessary on the tundra more doable. On the other hand I use a 50" Kodiak magnum for ducks, kinda hard too shoot a longish bow while kneeling in a canoe.
