70" Herter's Itasca Longbow
« on: September 09, 2009, 11:25:00 PM »
I have a 1978 70" Herter's Perfection Itasca Longbow serial# 7000578001 which was made May 1978 and it was the first bow made that month! I was wondering what the bow is worth or if it really is a collectors item. Thanks for any information!

No idea what it's worth but in 1978 it cost $53.49 new.

Up.  Interested in Herters bows.  Can you tell me the poundage and how the limbs look ?  My '65 works fine but had some twist and some fatigue cracks.
