Brown Bear
« on: October 18, 2009, 06:14:00 PM »
I posted in PowWow....thought I'd come over here with the same question.

I am in search of a tip/string nock for a Brown Bear. The lower limber is just the brown fiberglass taper whereas, the upper has a black nock/tip.

I'm thinking of making it into a fishing bow and all around fill in for shooters who have no bow.
It's ambidextrous and 45@28 so, should be a good one to fix and share.

Any thoughts or ideas are welcome. It may take me some time to respond, but; I will. Thanks up front.

IF this is a solid fiberglass bow then stick a gob of JB Weld epoxy slightly larger than you need for the nock onto the limb. Let it set up and then shape with a file and sandpaper. Clean and rough the limb glass real good first.
