66" 40#@28" Kodiak Special
« on: January 20, 2010, 04:20:00 PM »
Hello
I have a 1959 Kodiak Special and would like to know the proper brace height. I am currently shooting 14 strand dacron at 8". Shooting 450 gr wood shafts and trying to get the best performance. Very pleased but can I do better.
Thanks

I have a 66" 59 Kodiak Special that is 42lbs.  I am using a 12 strand dacron string.  the wooden arrows i am shooting out of it are around 430 grains.  for me,  it seems to like a brace height around 8 1/16

Hi Minnesota Hunter
Guess I'm in the ball park.
Thanks for your reply
