Wallymarts has different sizes of cyanoacrylate, although probrably not the 420 Doc uses, he can explain the difference. It is Loctite brand though.

You won't find it in the hardware store but if you have something like an industrial bearing sort of place in the area, they will probably have it in stock if you ask for it.. Might be a bit higher but no shipping and off the shelf.
Others wise as Doc said, MSC is a good bet as is McMaster Carr, both available on the Internet.

I did a little looking around and found these-

and

 http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=21413

It looks to be the same stuff as Loctite 420 but only 10 dollars per bottle--what do ya'll think?
thanks Rick

I'm obviously not "Doc" but I believe that the 420 is Low Viscosity--meaning it is thin and will run down into cracks as small as .002". Its thickness is much more like that of water--regular superglue is usually of a higher viscosity--it is thicker and doesn't run or wick as freely as the 420.

Rick nailed it 420 has what is called wicking affect meaning it will draw itself into the tiniest gap.I only use 420 because its industral grade rather then over the counter super glues bd

Get the real thing and do not confuse 420 with thread lock for automotive use.
Wonder where they got that name '420'?
