Can anyone tell me if this is Shedua or Tigerwood. It's a 1968 Kodiak mag.I was thinking it's tigerwood but I thought 68 mags were made from shedua and 69's were tigerwood.Maybe late '68 used tigerwood or did they use what ever they had avaliable.Just curious. Thanks

Shedua. I have a Polar with a tigerwood (also known as Goncalo alves) riser and will try to get a photo of it. I have seen many '69 Kodiak Hunters and Kodiak Mags that were shedua; I have seen very few that were tigerwood (Goncalo alves).
