Miniture Martin recurve pics added

Hey I need a little help IDing a miniture martin recurve bow i just bought on fleabay. It's about 26" long has a Martin archery sticker and is marked mx150 in white ink.

That is very cool, I read that those little bows were usually made as gifts to individuals but that is about all I know

Yeah, I think they were gifts/promotional items and pretty cool.

Lon is right , I have one as well , left handed , I spoke to Gail Martin and Larry Hatfield about them .
They were made one year (cant remember exact year) to give away to people that they knew that had children. There were 9 of them made. Great find .

Thanks guys for the info. I'm a junky for anything miniture so I couldn't pass it up. I'm going to make a walnut case and a set of arrows for it. I'll post when I'm done. Scott

Yes it will shoot. It shoots the 12" arrows pretty quick. I tried to teach my 2 yr. old grandaughter how to shoot it but she didn't understand to let go of the string. I'll keep trying!!
