Bear Black Panther
« on: March 22, 2010, 08:56:00 PM »
My dad got a Bear recurve, the black panther model many years ago. I shot it when I was younger and my dad killed a couple deer with it. It's 45#'s@28in. and is 56in. long. I was wondering if anybody knows anything about it or possibly what it's worth. I did some searching but couldnt find anything.
Thanks

Those were made for kmart and other department stores in the 70's from what i've gathered. I had the same bow, nice shooter. Most were marked with dual wieghts, 45/50 so the poundage fell between and wasn't as specific as the bear cat. bows. Paid 80.00 for mine, seen them from 50 to as much as 200.
