This bow has been refinished. I don't have a clue as to "who" did the refinishing, but they did a pretty good job. To say I am pleased is a blatant understatement.

Don,

That's a beauty! I just might need to take mine off the wall and try it out now.

That is one nice bow.

Jack, if you aren't going to use yours you can just take it off the wall and send it to me  :)

After seeing these pictures I might need to keep one eye open for these.

Does anyone know what years Bear sold the Kodiak Special Deluxe?

Only sold one year, due to glass issues, believe it is a 1960. With this one being refinished it might turn out to be a real shooter. Good luck with it Don.

My wife is from Pottstown, I'll have to ask her if she knew a P.W. Galloway. It's a pretty small town, and a small world.

I should have bid higher. Your pictures are much nicer than the pictures in the ad.

Ron I thought they were the same. I will keep my eye out for the Kodiak Deluxe also.

I just started collecting and got the catalog CD. I have to do some reading. Man I went from no bears to 16 in a few weeks. This collecting can become dangerous.

Gil,

In all honesty, I didn't much care for the pictures that were advertising the bow for sale either. I copied them and done some editing on them and they still didn't come out that good.

I took a chance.......and this time I came out on top. I'm not much of a "gambler" but in this case I'm glad that I did.
