52" Bear Grizzly???
« on: September 30, 2010, 09:28:00 AM »
I just had to ask because I'd never seen one before.  But the other day I ran across a 52" amo Bear Grizzly. It was a mid 70's bow with the black and green riser. had a draw weight of #45.  Question being could this have been a custom made bow? I've only ever seen 58" and 56" Gizzlys.  The bow itself was real slim and slick. And lighter than my k-mag. It was like my k-mag on slimfast. It didn't have a string so I don't know how it drew though.

Well anyways after thinking about it and decideing that it was something that I had to have I went back and it was already sold.  Now I'm wondering what just slipped through my fingers.  Anyone else ever seen a 52"  Griz?  And any opinions on the subject?

I never heard of one. Are you sure it was 58" amo? Perhaps it was mismarked?

I didn't tape it so I can't be sure. But I am pretty sure it was a 52" bow. I know it wasn't as long as another 58" Griz I have. It is possible that it was mismarked.  Damn, I wish I had taken pics of it... hell I wish that I had bought it.   O-well
