Heard about Marksman recurve bow before?
« on: December 02, 2010, 06:15:00 AM »
A local archery shop has few Marksman recurves for sale. Have anyone ever heard about Marksman?  They look like never used old bows to me (maybe about 30 years).

Hey Ming,

I bought one too, I got one without the twin stabilizers.
From what I was able to learn, the bows were made in the 70's in England for the English Olympic Archery Team.
How in the world C&B got them in the condition they are in is absolutely amazing. When I first saw them I thought they were old Hoyt target bows. The bow is gorgeous. The white/cream glass is perfect. The wood riser is outstanding. It makes a great form bow.

Peter,

I tried on John's bow last night at C&B and like it.  So smooth and stable.  Looks like I am gonna call them later.
