Fred Eichler at Bear Archery?
« on: January 01, 2011, 04:47:00 PM »
I was just watching a new show Fred Eichler has out called "Yeti" something.  He was showing his home and photos on the wall and he showed one with him and Frank Scott.  When he did he made a statement that the worked with Frank at Bear Archery...anyone know the details of that?

No, but there is an interview in TBM wher he discusses it a little. It's the Feb/Mar 2010 issue.

Yes, Fred worked at Bear Archery in the 80's and part of his job was to clean Fred Bear's mounts!!! Talk about inspiring a young man to want to hunt with a recurve!!! I was at Fred's house on an elk hunt and in one of his trophy rooms is a Bear Green stripe takedown given to him by Frank Scott.I have a picture of that bow and will post it later.
