Hoyt Pro Medalist brace height ?
« on: December 10, 2007, 02:38:00 PM »
I am recovering from shoulder surgery and need to start back out a quite a bit lighter in poundage. We just happen to have an older Pro Medalist bow. It's 30#@28" and 66"long. No string. Any help on string length, strands, and bow brace height would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Iowa Mike

Brace....8-8/4'' should be close

String......63 will be close, as Hoyt pretty much adhered to AMO specs, which would be a 63'' string for a 66'' bow.

Strands.....10-12 of DACRON only, with 12 being easier to get nock fit, unless you has larger dia serving on hand.
