Back in September I posted on PoWow about this recurve asking if anyone had any information about these bows. Well I put a new string on her and shot her. What a fantistic bow. Anyway, I would aprieciate any information about this bow that anyone could provide. The information I have:Challenger ( by Morris)
49#@30"
SCR#575
I believe these bows were made in the 60's but not relly sure.I should add that this bow is either 66" or 68" long. Thanks in advance.

Hope this works. I sized these from Photo Bucket in automatic re-size. This is the bow I asked about.

Wow! Nice bow has that late 50's early 60's look. Can you get a closer picture of the tips?

Never heard of those. It is very nicely made, a lot of work went into that bow. That's what is great about collecting, as many years as I have been collecting, bows still pop up that I have never heard of.

A friend of mine picked this up at the Flea Market for thirty bucks. I mentioned what a great find he had. Next thing I know he gave it to me.

We, at the FASCO bow shop in El Cajon, CA, made some of these bows for Morris around 1963-64. You got yourself a really great bow!

Thank you Fred for the information. Is there anything else you may know about this bow? I have tried the internet to no avail.
I do indeed like this bow.
