Ben Pearson Cougar

Can anyone get me in the ballpark on a production year for a Ben Pearson Cougar that I am refinishing?  Ser #06-7211, 64", 50#.  Red glass on the belly and white on the back.  If there any experts out there who can help me out, I will happily send you photos.
