Is this Super K Typical???
« on: March 14, 2011, 11:57:00 PM »
I've had this blue stripe super K for several years - recently though, I've noticed that every other blue-stripe I've ever seen (mostly on the computer) has the same color future wood for the main riser and the 'horns'. My blue stripe has yellowish-gold horns. Is this unusual? I do own another blue-stripe and that one has the same bluish future wood for both the main riser and the 'horns'. Could someone set me straight on this one?

Also, note that this bow has the raised plastic coin, and the silk screens are both on the belly side of the limbs, so I'm fairly confident that it's a 1975 blue stripe.

I'm going to try and post a pic, hope this works. thanks, David

Sorry, my pics are very small for some reason. If someone has a better idea on how to post pics, please let me know. Thanks!

Definitely a very nice bow!  I was just shooting my RH version of this bow a few minutes ago.  These are fine bows.  Mine is the standard coloration though.  Yours is really cool.

I have not seen one like it until you posted pics.  There will be more experienced guys coming along to comment soon though.
