What years were the 58" made and what years were the 60" made? Do any of you Howatt experts know right off?

I have one that a friend loaned me to shoot for awhile and it's a 58", but I knew they came in both lengths. I don't think they made both lengths at the same time though.

SUPER Diablo? or Just Diablo?

The reg Diablo came down to 54 inch too. I too have never seen nor heard of a SUPER Diablo anything but 60 inch UNLESS far later ones by Martin changed that.

From Damon Howatt......all Ive seen, and a lot online and in hand, 60 inch (not MEASURED but AMO). I bought one the first year DH made em. There was only one length available but dont mean they didnt MAKE one, just didnt advertise it?

Where's Droptine? He knows.

I think the Diablo's were available in 58", but the SD's were only  60" to the best of my knowledge.  Hi Speeds were also made in 54 and 58".

Maybe I'm mixed up.The bow is out of my hands for a couple days having some stuff done to it. When I get it in my hands I'll confirm or correct my statement.

The Super Diablo was only 60". I remember when they came out and bought one new in 1972, a couple of years after they were introduced.

This is I believe a 1964 Diablo 55# 58" I had a few months back. I'm not sure when the Super Diablo came out.

Just read something from Larry Hatfield. The Super D came out in '66 and the rosewood riser stopped in '74.

REAL pretty bow Jack.

Actually, the rosewood Super D was discontinued in 1979.  The Super D was added the the lineup again in 1986 in an all-zebrawood form.
